This is the beginning of the period activity every day. Immediately sit down at your seat and login into Schoology to begin writing. We will spend the first 5 minutes of class writing about the photo. Be creative. First come up with a title for the photo. You may write about any of the following:
• Explain your initial reaction to the photo and how it makes you feel
• Infer what was behind the photographer’s thought process and why they took the photo
• Brainstorm effective ways that you believe could the photo be used within our society
• Create your own story about the subject of the photo
• Infer what was going on before and after the photograph was taken
• Discuss what the photo says to you
• Comment on or the elements of design/composition (rule of thirds, repetition, balancing subjects, depth, framing etc.)
• Write about anything else that is to the photo
Your entry MUST be more than one sentence. It MUST be a complete thought. (i.e. Do not write "It is black and white and there are deer jumping.)
